Mai anh đào (tên khoa học Prunus Cesacoides) là loại cây thân gỗ, cao 5 – 6m, tán lá rộng 2 – 3m. Hoa thường nở khi bắt đầu chuyển mùa (thường vào giữa tháng 1). Sau khi nở đồng loạt, 3 – 4 tuần sau hoa nhạt màu, tàn dần, cây cũng bắt đầu ra lá.

Hoa Mai anh đào được trồng ở nhiều nơi tại trung tâm TP.Đà Lạt, khu du lịch hồ Tuyền Lâm, Cầu Đất (xã Xuân Trường), xã Tà Nung… Tuy nhiên, do vị trí địa lý, đất đai, độ ẩm, nhiệt độ từng khu vực khác nhau nên thời điểm nở hoa cũng khác nhau.

Mỗi bông hoa như một chú bướm nhỏ xinh với cánh hoa chính màu phớt hồng, đậm hơn ở phía ngoài và nhạt hơn ở phía trong, giữa cánh hoa có màu vàng thật nhẹ. Khi hoa đỗ mai nở, những vạt rừng trên sườn núi như bừng sáng. Du khách có thể tìm và bắt gặp rất nhiều hoa đỗ mai trên dọc đèo Nước Ngọt hoặc đường lên núi Minh Đạm.

Situated on the south-west side of Halong Bay, Ba Ham Lake is found on Ðau Be Island (Calf Head Island) in Lan Ha Bay. This island is part of the range of islands at the farthest end of Halong Bay, bordering the immense zone Long Chau Sea.

Ba Ham Lake is situated in the middle of a narrow, rectangular area, with the all four sides enclosed by vertical cliffs.
The lake is a system comprising three wide and round pits, linked together by a narrow and meandering tunnel. Stalactites hang from the ceiling in a myriad of strange, colored forms.
The silence is disturbed only by the sounds of the boat’s oars. On the island are many species of plants such as orchids, benjamin figs, banyans and cycads, which blossom throughout the year. It is also the home of yellow-haired monkeys, birds, flying squirrels and bats. Under the deep blue surface of the water are the animated lives of shrimp and fish.
Although 25 km from the shore, it has long been considered an ideal tourism zone. The entrance is a open semi-circular hole in the flat stone wall on the north-west side of the island, 4 to 5 m above the sea.
Starting from the entrance, tourists enter the first tunnel, which boasts a forest of stalactites and stalagmites in different shapes and various colors. They fall down the water surface like the roots of banyan or ficus trees. The deeper one pushes into the tunnel, the darker it becomes.

In the southeast cliff of the second tunnel there grows an old carambola tree, which bears fruits all year round. Tourists can find groups of monkeys, flying squirrels, or silver-headed parrots gathering in its branches. Lying one cliff away from the second one, the third tunnel is home to various species of bats and butterflies.

Để đến nhà thờ đổ, từ Hà Nội, đi theo quốc lộ 1A, rẽ vào quốc lộ 21, về thành phố Nam Định, qua cầu Đò Quan, hỏi đường về huyện Hải Hậu. Đến trung tâm huyện (cầu Yên Định) hỏi đường ra thị trấn Cồn (cách cầu Yên Định khoảng 8 km). Ở đây có biển chỉ dẫn (phía bên trái): Văn Lý 3 km. Đi theo biển chỉ dẫn, hỏi Nhà thờ đổ.
Nếu đi ô tô khách: đón xe ở bến Giáp Bát, đi chuyến Hà Nội - Nam Định - thị trấn Cồn (hoặc Thịnh Long). Xuống xe, bắt xe ôm vào khu Nhà thờ đổ (3 km).
Thời gian chụp hình nhà thờ đổ đẹp nhất là bình minh (khoảng 5h) và hoàng hôn (khoảng 18h).
